The PLF is providing free shredding of legal files for Multnomah county attorneys on Saturday, June 26, 2021, from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. in the Oregon State Bar Center parking lot.  Mobile shredding trucks from Iron Mountain, a document management company, will be shredding the materials on site.

Specifications

The Iron Mountain trucks will be located in the parking lot behind the OSB Bar Center, 16037 SW Upper Boones Ferry Road, Tigard, Oregon 97224, and will shred the materials on site. Shredding will be available until the trucks are filled to capacity. (If the trucks fill to capacity before noon, we will not be able to accept any more boxes.) You must wait until your material is shredded and take your boxes back with you.

Limit: 15 bankers boxes (10 x 15 x 12) per firm. If your files are in the longer bankers boxes (10 x 24 x 12), the limit is 7.

OK to shred: paper clips; staples; rubber bands; small binder clips; 2-prong fasteners

CANNOT be shredded: 3-ring binders; spiral notebooks; metal rings; comb bindings; hanging folders; CDs; DVDs; VCR tapes

Please do not place any cardboard in the bins. The trucks will jam.
